“Count your age by friends, not years. Count your life by smiles, not tears.”

The Quarrymen was a British bans originally formed in Liverpool (1956). Three of the members of The Beatles participated in John Lennon´s out band The Quarrymen (John, Paul McCartney, George Harrison)
But before the band was name The Quarrymen they were The Blackjacks because there was another band with the same name, so Pete Shotton suggested renaming the group The Quarrymen.

His first recordings were the song “ That Be the Day” and “In Spite of All the Danger”, composed by Harrison and Paul. When Stuart  joined the group, it was renamed The Beetles, but more later the name change to The Silver Beetles, to be called in 1960 The Beatles.
